The Sacramento chapter of Hadassah is hosting the 2nd annual E-Waste collection day on March 21 as part of its year-long Mitzvah Project and fundraising efforts for the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The equipment that will be accepted by the collection agent ACR http://acrinc.biz/index.html are monitors/televisions; desktop and notebook computers; small equipment including vcr's, stereo equipment, speakers, keyboards, mice, PDAs, digital cameras, zip drives, telephones and cell phones; printers and copiers; and laser and multi-function scanners and fax machines.
The collection drop off hours will be from 9:30 AM until 12:00 Noon on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Northeast Corner (East Side) of the Mosaic Law Parking lot. Mosaic Law is located at 2300 Sierra Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95825.
The first Hadassah E-waste collection in December 2008 raised several hundred dollars. Please encourage friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to start spring cleaning early and drop off hard to get rid-of E-waste on March 21.
Hadassah, the women’s Zionist organization of America, is the largest and oldest Jewish women’s organization in America. All Hadassah members and the public at large are welcome to bring their E-waste to support this very worthy cause.
